I love how this study gets me talking with my kids about spiritual warfare. They’re only 2 and 3 years old, but the Scripture readings are short enough for them to sit through and the questions and activities are simple enough for them to understand and enjoy. I find my understanding deepening as well as I engage with the questions, explain the verses to them, and respond to their comments or questions. My daughter was jumping up and down singing with me as we came up with our Armor of God song today, and my son wore his helmet of salvation all day long (even to the restaurant and the park). I can’t wait to see how much we’ve all learned by the end of the study.

my boys look forward to doing this every am when we’re doing our Bible time! I’ve noticed a bit more cooperation with my boys – especially my tough one! We are now into our 3rd week ok homeschooling and it is getting better as we go. He is less resistant and more willing to work! And actually he has been more helpful, especially since my other son broke his arm last Thursday! Praise God for wins (no matter what size they are)!

This is a great study that can be done quickly for kids with shorter attention spans, or you can go deeper as well. My kids are 7 & 11, and although I did an Armour of God study with them a few years ago, it’s really neat to see how both they and I have grown and developed different perspectives since last time. I love the various methods of engagement Christie offers in this study as well (singing, making, drawing, researching, etc) so there’s something in it for everyone.
